Refreshing ice tea, mocktail or cocktail
Although at the mention of tea we immediately conjure up winter's eve, misted windows, frostbitten face and hands that we want to warm as soon as possible with a hot cup full of this aromatic drink, this time we are changing the perspective a little.
With the arrival of warm days, tea shows us all its benefits in a chilled form. It perfectly quenches thirst, and brings the desired refreshment, and its fruity and floral aromas become a great accompaniment on hot summer days.
What is definitely worth pointing out is that you can also freely offer certain types of tea to children, such as rooibos or other caffeine-free teas. It will be a much healthier drink than the overly sweetened and carbonated juices kids especially like during the summer months. And if you serve it to them in an interesting glass into which you will stick a nice straw or a paper umbrella, they will accept this healthier version of the summer drink without any problems.
You can prepare your version of cold or iced tea according to your own taste - add fresh fruit, ice cubes, freshly squeezed lemon or orange juice, and sweeten it with honey, agave or maple syrup. You will get such a healthy, but extremely tasty drink that you can always have ready in the fridge and sip throughout the day without remorse.
Homemade cold tea goes well with the most diverse types of food - you can drink it with breakfast or brunch, serve it with various cold salads, barbecue, pizza and pasta, all the way to hamburgers and grilled steaks.
A special story is the increasingly popular cocktails based on cold tea - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, the so-called mocktails. Your favorite tea, some crushed ice, syrups of various aromas, pieces of fresh fruit, an alcoholic drink of your choice (our favorite is vodka because it combines well with various aromas) and your summer tea cocktail is ready.
Discover the wealth of aromas and flavors of teas from all over the world, as well as unique tea blends in the Harissa Spice Store and in our webshop, and let your imagination run wild. Let the ice tea season begin!
