The tiny Bird's eye chili pepper originated in Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and surrounding countries, but nowadays it can be found all over the world.
It is believed that they are called Bird's eye because they are spread by birds that are not affected by the hot pepper.

PURCHASE AND STORAGE
When ripe, peppers are mostly red, but they can also be yellow, purple or black. Store in a closed and dark place to preserve the taste.
USE IN COOKING
